THIS ARRANGEMENT WILL EXPIRE ON DECEMBER 31, 2018, SO YOU MUST BEGIN PRIOR TO THIS DATE, AND CAN FINISH OVER THE NEXT 6 MONTHS. ALL FUTURE ENGAGEMENTS AFTER DEC 31, 2018 WILL BE AT NORMAL MARKET PRICES.
I am sorry as I know this information is distressing and I understand your extreme frustration, however, Longhorn Driving School closed on December 31, 2017. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has been notified by the Owner and is currently processing refunds and sending letters for classroom completion. If you need this, email them at DES@tdlr.texas.gov - give name and date of birth of your student.
In the meantime, I am doing my part to assist your teen driver to complete the state requirement of 7 Lessons. If you engage as shown below, you will be able to book ALL your lessons on one log in session. As of Dec 1, 2018, 101 students have completed their 7 Lessons since we began on Jan 15, 2018, and only about 12 students remain to finish.

I was so concerned about the students unable to finish, that I began volunteering, then in Jan 2018, had to begin the special discount.
I have been an instructor in this industry for 16 years, so I truly understand the struggles of scheduling you have encountered. I opened Stonepoint Driving Dec. 2017. I have worked for Lake Travis Driving, Safeway Driving, Stay Safe Driving and Gulf Coast Driving.
Your Discount Lessons $25/Pay-as-you-Go option:
Since you have already paid tuition, I offer a 'labor and fuel cost only' price of $25/lesson-Pay-as-you-Go [labor and fuel (Excludes all these normal costs: car rental with Instructor Brake & Mirror, acquisition, TDLR License, auto insurance, oil changes, maintenance, registration, inspection, advertising).] You pay me at the beginning of each lesson (I prefer a check payable to: Stonepoint Driving, but cash is fine). You would schedule all 7 lessons on Schedule2Drive which there are numerous available dates. BEGINNING Oct 6, 2018 we will meet at 1905 El Salido Parkway-Bldg 2 (on site of The Goddard School) near Cedar Park High School.. Click HERE for a map. Once you choose this engagement, the account will be ACTIVE and you log in to schedule ALL your drives at www.Schedule2Drive.com.
If after scheduling, you are not able to make a lesson, you need to log in to cancel 2 days prior in order for another student to take this place. If there is a No Show/No Permit/Late cancellation (less than 2 days) there is a $45 (cost of regular lesson) fee if we can not fill it. I have reserved a time to teach your student and when that is cancelled with too short of notice, I can't fill it with another student. There is an allowance for the other student to drive a 'double credit' lesson on some occasions, or we go pick up the permit if we can. Receipts will be issued for each payment.
The Stonepoint Driving vehicle is a 2008 Red Honda CRV marked Stonepoint Driving. Please practice 2 to 4 hours between lessons in order to build skill. Your Parent Practice hours need to be recorded on the Parent Practice 30-hour Log required by the state. You can record on S2D or paper copy CLICK HERE to print one.
Please be advised that although 98 have passed the final evaluations in the past 9 months, 5 students have not (due to lack of home practice), a 6% failure rate, and so I have to charge $45 for a followup 2nd final lesson (they won't have to observe). The student does not receive their certificate simply because they have completed 7 lessons, they must be able to control the car lawfully and safe and pass a 'Practice DPS Road Exam".
